One of the most interesting sights in Merano are the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle. In a
12-hectar enclosure, plants from all over the world have been brought together and typical
landscapes of South Tyrol are presented. In the Gardens’ centre stands the Castle, which
today houses the “Touriseum”, a museum recounting 200 years of Alpine tourism history.
